The Merlot Room overlooks the north slope of the Eastern Vineyard and the full view of the Plantation Elm tree. This room's decor is reminiscent of the nineteenth century antebellum period with a private bath and porticoes from floor to ceiling. The king size "Plantation" bed, designed by Jessica McClintock, has intricate carvings of
old world craftsmanship and adorned with a Victorian comforter and pillows, perfect for a night of restful dreams.
